Who are We?
Phantasmagoria is a quartet consisting of bass, drums, guitar and piano. The music is an ever-changing collection of sonic gestures, seen or heard. The project focuses on compositions that explore the boundaries of interplay, improvisation and interaction through empathic attunement. By "de-centering" themselves from their own musical perspectives, the musicians enter a heightened state that allows each individual voice to take creative risks, where each musician cultivates a mutual responsiveness.
